How Verum verifies every lot
Every lot is analysed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to confirm purity and by mass spectrometry to confirm molecular identity and mass. Results are documented on a certificate of analysis and available through our COA Library.
Reading a COA
- Identity: the measured mass must match the expected molecular mass of the compound.
- Purity: the HPLC main-peak area, reported as a percentage. Verum releases lots above 99%.
- Lot number: ties the vial in your hand to the exact analysis on file.
Handling research peptides
Lyophilized peptides are stable in transit at ambient temperature. For long-term storage, keep vials desiccated at −20°C. Reconstitution and all laboratory handling are performed by the researcher under appropriate conditions.
